thesummerangel: I just can’t get over the fact that Alex Pettyfer will not be playing Jace Wayland. I feel utterly and soooo very disappointed that he will not be Jace in the movie. I respect other opinions about who should play Jace but I just need to voice out and express my own view or else I’ll combust and die of frustration. Personally, I think Alex P. is the perfect Jace. The walking, talking, breathing live version of Jace. He is Jace Herondale/Wayland/Lightwood. The wit, the sarcasm, the blonde hair, the cheekbones, even the eyes. And he is British! Plus, look at his tattoos! He is just so… Jace. It’s SUCH a shame he can’t take the role and make the movie. He would’ve looked spectacular with Lily and would’ve worked well with Logan/Asher, Kaya, and the other cast members. Yes, there might be other suitable actors for Jace but it would’ve been more special if it was Alex. I know many people initially and automatically thought of Alex P. when they first read Jace. The movie would’ve more impact if he was part of it. I just really regret that he did not take/accepted the role. No offense to those with other opinions, I’m just stating mine. After all, this is a state with rights of free expression. I just need to rant. So forgive me and please just indulge the musings of a frustrated reader. :) I am just soooo infinitely saaaad. It still stings that Alex P. will not be Jace even after all this time. It would’ve been almost every TMI fan’s dream come true if Alex accepted the role initially offered to him. :( </3 But all hope is not lost. I hope the movie is spectacular. With Lily in it and possibly Kaya, I think it’ll still be kick-ass. :)) I just… love TMI. :) With my whole heart. :)
